You can carry the mag carrier on which ever side you want. It can be customized for Right Side Carry, Left Side Carry or Straight Drop.

R Rob H.I carry my firearm canted forward on my right side at the 4 o'clock position. Should a mag carrier on my left side be canted forward, straight, or rearward?

Most people carry the mag carrier on the weak side, slightly canted forward (Left Side Carry) or straight drop.
