Pros: Excellent leather backing and build quality — very comfortable against the skin for all-day carry. Great retention out of the box for small-frame pistols like the Ruger LCP Max. Small, minimal footprint for appendix carry without unnecessary bulk. Cons: Single belt clip allows slight rotational movement or vertical shifting depending on your belt/waistband. Needs a little extra push at the muzzle end to tuck the grip flush against the body. Full Review: I bought this Mini Appendix Carry holster for my Ruger LCP Max looking for a comfortable hybrid rig for daily AIWB carry. Out of the box, the quality is classic CrossBreed — the leather backing breaks in nicely, retention is solid, and the overall footprint is small enough to forget you’re wearing it. Because it uses a single belt clip, I found that the rig could occasionally wiggle up or shift in the waistband during movement. It also benefited from a bit more angle to pull the grip tight against my body to eliminate printing. How I made it 5/5: Grip tape on the Kydex shell: I applied a small 3" strip of textured rubber grip tape directly to the top edge of the Kydex shell where it meets the waistband. That added friction completely solved the single-clip tilt/shift issue and locks it right where I put it. Modular foam wedge: I added a small, adjustable wedge pad to the bottom of the leather backer. The extra push at the bottom rotates the grip right back into my torso for effortless concealment. Final Verdict: It’s a great, well-constructed holster out of the box. If you're willing to add a wedge and a little friction tape to dial in the retention angle and belt grip, it becomes one of the most comfortable and stable appendix setups you can run. High quality hardware that's definitely worth keeping.

I have a couple of other crossbreed holsters that I do like and they fit well. I was looking for one for my bodyguard 2. 0 and this did fit holds the gun well. However with the clip on the front side of the gun the clip interferes with my belt buckle when in appendix carry also I have to lever my gun out with my finger because the clip is quite a ways forward. Wish I had bought a holster with belt clip on the grip side of holster, keeping this because I don't want to pay restock charge. . .

D Dana W.When it says smaller frame bodies, do you mean the individual wearer or the pistol? I am 5'11" and 140# so am rather thin wearing a 30/34 Levi size. Is the Mini Appendix Carry AIWB designed for such a build, or just a micro pistol?

Both, the Mini Appendix Carry AIWB is designed for smaller Micro Compacts such as the Glock 42, Ruger LCP Max, Sig P365, etc. A smaller framed person can conceal a smaller holster and firearm better.

Founder's Series leather features a 7oz outer layer made of 100% vegetable tanned cowhide leather using no dyes or lacquers. The hides then have natural oils and tallow applied under pressure giving each piece of hide a unique and distinctive appearance. The leather pieces range from a dark chocolate brown to a lighter tan with contrasting grain.

T TristanI noticed the Mini Appendix Carry AIWB Holster has a model selection of the SIG P365 XL Romeo Zero. Does this fit the SIG P365 XL with the red dot installed? Just want to confirm.

Hello. That option should not be on the Mini Appendix. I asked our production manager and he agreed that it would not work on that holster. With the clip placement, the optic would be hitting the clip every time you holster the firearm. I would recommend the Freedom Carry for your setup. The clip is on the grip side vs the slide side, and it works just as well as the Appendix Carry would.
