Description
The SnapSlide is an outside of the waistband holster designed to keep your firearm close to your body. This belt slide-style holster has belt slots that measure 1.75 inches; this works best with a 1.5 or 1.25 inch belt. The design is intended to house your firearm high and tight, just behind the hip on your strong side, and lay flat for concealment under a loose shirt or jacket. Available in our Black Cowhide, Natural Cowhide, and Founder's Leather options. Other options include a Sweat Guard or Sweat Guard with Combat Cut and Designer Series color Kydex.

Well made holster with no flaws that I can find. Firearm is held securely inside holster. Does not conform to my body as much as I would like, however, I believe this is due to the ridged nature of Kydex. I believe an all leather holster in the 4 o’clock position would eventually conform better to the body due to leathers more pliable nature.

I ordered this holster on Feb 28th it was finally delivered on 26 March. The wonderful postal service miss routed the package . Now that I have the holster, I am very satisfied with the retention and fit after a tweak the Sig fits perfect. .

M MicahI'm unsure what the sweat guard is, could you explain where it fits in relation to the kydex and leather?
Also would this be comfortable to carry at the appendix position?

The sweat guard is dome shaped leather that will keep the pistol grip and slide from rubbing against your body. The Snapslide OWB is designed to carried in the strongside position.

A AaronDoes Crossbreed recommend any specific lubricant for this holster? I have read that silicone sprays are appropriate for Kydex holsters.
The holster is a bit more snug than what I would like and I do not want to do the retention method with the hair dryer.
I am hoping a very thin amount of lubricant will make the draw slightly easier without damaging the holster or the gun (black matte aluminum I believe--Bersa Thunder 40).

When you first get your new holster, wear it as much as possible for several days straight to allow it to break in. Both the cowhides, black and Founder’s will break in faster than horsehide. Your holster will get even more comfortable as it forms to your individual contours. Some saddle butter and/or leather conditioner can also help with this (NO OILS). Give it a fair chance to work for you and you will be very satisfied with your purchase.

Not on the Snapslide. You may want to take a look at the SuperSlide it has 2 sets of belt loops one for crossdraw and one for strongside carry.
