Under the direction and ingenuity of Mark Craighead, CrossBreed Holsters LLC was born in 2005. Mark was an avid shooter, re-loader and concealed carry permit holder who was introduced to firearms at a young age by his father. With a strong interest in firearms — particularly handguns — Mark grew his knowledge of the firearms industry. And with his experience, Mark became familiar with holsters, learning what worked and what did not.After collecting his proverbial “box of holsters,” Mark decided to create a design of his own, incorporating the best features of other holsters and discarding the non-functional elements. In doing so, Mark had handcrafted a new breed of holsters. Within a couple of years, Mark’s hybrid holster design had achieved such popularity that his company, CrossBreed Holsters, gained national recognition as a leading manufacturer of some of the best and most functional concealment holsters available on the market today. Each holster is handmade by craftsmen personally trained by Mark. These craftsmen continue to pass on the skills, traditions, and attention to detail to the new generation of craftsmen who have joined the company under Mark’s original vision.
