| Frequently asked questions Q) Where do I tell you what type of gun I have? There is no "Pull Down" for it? A) We service too many guns to have a pull down for them all so we ask that you just type us a note in the "comments" box on the checkout page, it's towards the bottom, below your name and address information. You can also add any additional comments you may have here. But don't ask questions in the comments box, please use our email links to ask questions. The "coupon" box is found right above the "comments" box for any special promotional codes. You may check the Availability/Ordering page for a list of the guns we currently service. Q) What is the difference between the Standard IWB and the SuperTuck? A) The Standard IWB is NOT tuckable, it is also NOT adjustable, it is a good basic IWB and works best with medium to small frame guns. The SuperTuck IS adjustable for ride depth AND cant, it IS tucklable and it is our best holster and our top seller. It is an excellent choice for any firearm and strongly recommended for full size guns. If you are having trouble deciding between these two, just get the SuperTuck and you can't go wrong. Q) What are J-hooks, V-Clips and the SnapLok? A) We offer three styles of clips for the SuperTuck, First is the standard clip which we call the SnapLok, this clip comes with all SuperTucks as the basic clip. It goes down over the outside of the belt and hooks the bottom edge of the belt via a 90 degree lip. It is a VERY stable clip as it puts the weight of the gun on the belt and not the pants. It offers the best support of all the clips and is reasonably discreet. Next would be the J-Hook, this clip goes down BEHIND the belt and then hooks up at the bottom preventing the holster from drawing out with the gun. The advantage to this clip is that it is more discreet than the SnapLok, but by putting the weight on the pants instead of the belt, it tends to want to ride down with heavier guns and is not as stable. The most common option is for folks to order a set of J-Hooks to go with thier SnapLoks. We make this very easy by this being the default option and a pair of these is only $5.00 if ordered at the time you order your SuperTuck. This means you would get both the SnapLoks and a pair of J-Hooks and decide which you liked best or mix and match. Finally we have the V-Clip which is intended for very deep concealment needs. This clip has no hook or ear and goes down behind the belt. It is faced with "hook" Velcro and needs a Velcro backed belt to attach to. This is a very stable clip and also completely invisible behind the belt, the downside is that you must attach some loop Velcro to the back of a belt or buy a belt with some already on it. We do provide a length of loop Velcro when you order this style clip, if you would like to use a belt you currently have. We also offer our own belts already equipped with the Velcro kit which includes the Velcro backed belt and V-Clips with hardware for use on our SuperTuck holster. Q) Which holster is best for me? A) While that is an individual question, here are some general guidelines. SuperTuck- Overall the best choice and most popular model. It is adjustable and tuckable. It works well with all size guns and is intended for all day-every day carry. It works well from right at the hip all the way around to about 5:00 on the strong side. However, it is not the best choice for Crossdraw or appendix IWB carry. QwikClip- Intended for a bit easier on and off, the QwikClip is also tuckable and adjustable for cant but not for ride height. It has 3 settings which are FBI, Straight Drop and a bit of a reverse cant. It is the holster we recommend for crossdraw or appendix IWB carry. It also works well with smaller guns up to medium frame guns but can tend to have some stability issues with heavier guns such as full size steel frame guns. Standard IWB-Our basic model, works well with all size firearms but is not tuckable or adjustable. Comes set at a 15 degree forward cant . A good basic rig for occasional or all day wear. It does do better with smaller guns than larger ones. Q) What is your gaurantee and warranty policy. A) Once you receive your holster you have two weeks to try it out, if it doesn't work for you, simply give us a ring and we will buy it back. Even after your two-week-try-it-free period is over, the holster still carries a lifetime warranty and we will repair or replace it as long as you own it if it fails you in any way under normal use.
