Measure, in inches, your EXISTING BELT from the end of the buckle to the hole that fits you the best. This measurement is your belt size.
These Belts by Crossbreed have seven holes for proper sizing. The size you order will be made for use with the center hole. If you know that you prefer a belt with a longer tongue, add 1-2 inches to your measurement. If you prefer a fit with a shorter tongue, subtract 1-2 inches from your measurement. For most people there is no need to change your belt size to allow for IWB carry of a single conceal carry pistol.
If you need assistance with belt options and sizing questions, kindly contact our customer service department at 888-732-5011 FREE.
Please Note: DO NOT use your pants size as your belt measurement or order a desired size from buckle to tip. This will give you an incorrect fit.
If you need assistance with belt options and sizing questions, kindly contact our customer service department at 888-732-5011.

INSTRUCTOR BELT: Please refer to the instructor belt page for sizing chart and instructional video.

Please refer to the Ares Belt page for sizing chart, instructions, and videos.

**SIZING ERRORS - We ask that our customers take the time to accurately measure for the correct fit before ordering a handcrafted belt. Our craftsmen take great care to ensure that your belt is correctly sized as ordered. All sizing error exchanges will be subject to a $10 processing and reshipping fee. Exchanges will be accepted during the two week trial period only. (Ares Aegis Belts are custom items and are non-returnable at any time for any reason) **BELT ADJUSTMENT – After the two week free trial, there is a charge of $25.00 to have a belt cut down to a smaller size. The adjustment must be 4 inches or more for gun belts, instructor, and dress belts. Instructor belt with velcro® brand closure belts can be cut down in any increment. **Lifetime warranty does not apply to Belts by CrossBreed®
Although all of our leather hybrid holsters are treated with leather conditioner before they leave the shop, it may be necessary to condition the leather over the life of the holster.
We use and recommend Fiebing's 4-Way leather conditioner on all of our inside and outside the waistband holsters.
The conditioner should be applied only to the gun side of the leather with a minimalist approach. The back side of the leather will be conditioned with the natural body oils from your skin and no further treatment is needed.
If you need to clean the leather of your holster, saddle soap is recommended, followed by leather conditioner after the holster has fully dried.
We have the ability to craft holsters for several different lasers on the market today including Crimson Trace, Laser Max and Laser Lyte and Viridian. Please check the gun listing on our website for your specific firearm and laser, if it is not listed we are unable to accommodate that particular model. If your firearm is fitted with a Crimson Trace Laser Grip, please include this information in the additional comment section of your order. At this time we are unable to accommodate any of the Universal Rail Mounted Lasers or Lights.
We offer three styles of clips for those holsters that have belt clips attached.

First is the standard clip which we call the SnapLok, this clip comes with all SuperTuck® holsters as the basic clip. It goes down over the outside of the belt and hooks the bottom edge of the belt via a 90 degree lip. It is a VERY stable clip as it puts the weight of the gun on the belt and not the pants. It offers the best support of all the clips and is reasonably discreet.

Next would be the J-Hook, this clip goes down BEHIND the belt and then hooks up at the bottom preventing the holster from drawing out with the gun. The advantage to this clip is that it is more discreet than the SnapLok, but by putting the weight on the pants instead of the belt, it tends to want to ride down with heavier guns and is not as stable. The most common option is for folks to order a set of J-Hooks to go with their SnapLoks. We make this very easy by this being the default option and a pair of these is only $10.00 if ordered at the time you order your SuperTuck®. This means you would get both the SnapLoks and a pair of J-Hooks and decide which you liked best or mix and match.

Finally we have the V-Clip which is intended for very deep concealment needs. This clip has no hook or ear and goes down behind the belt. It is faced with "hook" Velcro and needs a Velcro backed belt to attach to. This is a very stable clip and also completely invisible behind the belt, the downside is that you must attach some loop Velcro to the back of a belt or buy a belt with some already on it. We do provide a length of loop Velcro when you order this style clip, if you would like to use a belt you currently have. We also offer our own belts already equipped with the Velcro kit which includes the Velcro backed belt and V-Clips with hardware for use on our SuperTuck holster.
Making the best holster on the market means doing a lot of little things that other companies do not. To ensure top quality finished goods, we start with top quality components. We are proud to offer three different and distinct leather options, selected or tanned especially for CrossBreed® Holsters to suit each individual's needs and comfort.

Hand Dyed Cowhide Black
Our Hand dyed cowhide leather is tanned exclusively for Crossbreed® Holsters, the leather is leveled to 10 or 12oz thickness depending on application then a Nubuck finish is applied to the back of the leather. The hides are cut to the desired holster shape depending on what feel and thickness the holster and pistol application need. The cutouts are then hand dyed and beveled to ensure maximum comfort. The Black cowhide is sealed with leather conditioner to ensure a finish that will last a lifetime.

Premium Tan Cowhide
Our premium cowhide is tanned by Hermann Oak leather using their 100% natural chemical free process. These 11oz tooling sides are finished with a Nubuck backing resulting in our holsters having an unmatched quality and feel. Our OWB premium holster leather is skirting leather that we split one at a time to the correct thickness and feel needed for the individual holster. The piece is then beveled and a Nubuck finish is applied to the leather backing. Once in house, this leather is stamped and treated with Neatsfoot oil to keep the chemical free integrity. Our Premium cowhide is a great alternative to Horsehide for a tan option when Horsehide is not available..

Premium Horsehide
Our horsehides come from Horween leather, the only horse hide tannery in the United States. Horsehide is a very dense, tight grain leather that allows for a much thinner holster with the same stiffness and retention. Horsehide is from 7-9oz in thickness for IWB holster and over 9oz for the OWB holsters. Though horsehide is not moisture proof, it does hold up better to high moisture environments better than cowhide because of its dense grain quality. We recommend the horse to people living in very hot humid climates, the leather has a smooth feel and ability to resist absorbing moisture which makes it a perfect choice for these conditions. The horse does take a bit longer to break in than the cowhide options due to its dense grain, but once that break-in period is over the horse will conform to the shape of your body and stay in that shape..

The supply of the proper high quality horsehide is limited, there are times when it is simply unavailable. During these times, the selection will be pulled from the website and made unavailable to order. If you'd like horsehide and it is currently unavailable, we suggest trying our Premium Hard Rolled Cowhide.
The Combat Cut is where we trim away some of the leather from behind part of the grip of your pistol, leaving leather coverage behind the trigger guard and slide. This allows a firmer grasp on the gun during the draw stroke. This modification will sacrifice a little bit of comfort but does increase the draw speed. This is an extra cost option because this cut is made to follow the contour of the individual firearm; the look of this cut varies from one holster to another depending on holster type, leather type, and gun choice. Approximately 20% of our customers prefer this option, while the others either have no preference or feel it sacrifices too much comfort. If you are unsure, don't order it. We can do it later if you would like; but once it's done, it's done.
While that is an individual question, here are some general guidelines. SuperTuck® - Overall the best choice and most popular model. It is adjustable and tuckable. It works well with all size guns and is intended for all day-every day carry. It works well from right at the hip all the way around to about 5:00 on the strong side. However, it is not the best choice for crossdraw or appendix IWB carry. The QwikClip is also tuckable and adjustable for cant but not for ride height. It has 3 settings which are FBI, Straight Drop and a bit of a reverse cant. It is the holster we recommend for crossdraw or appendix IWB carry. It also works well with smaller guns up to medium frame guns but can tend to have some stability issues with heavier guns such as full size steel frame guns.
Horsehide is a denser and tighter grained flesh than cowhide. This results in it being more moisture resistant. Customers in very humid climates or who tend to sweat heavily find this to be a useful option as horsehide tolerates dampness better. Horsehide is only available in natural as it's moisture resistance can also cause it to not take dye well. Additionally, the natural finish is very attractive on Horsehide. Horsehide is a limited option as it is not always available, during times when it is not available, the option will be removed from the selections. In other words, if you see it, you can order it.
It is important that all surfaces be thoroughly cleaned before applying VELCRO® brand velcro with adhesives. All cleaning agents should be tested prior to use to ensure the cleaning agent will not have adverse effects on the item you are applying the VELCRO to. In most circumstances, isopropyl alcohol(rubbing alcohol) will be a sufficient cleaning agent.
Retention adjustments are covered under your lifetime warranty. We would be happy to perform this for you anytime if you would like to leave it to the pros. If you prefer to do the adjustment yourself at home, you will find the instructions below:

You Will Need:
-your holster
-your unloaded firearm
-a hairdryer
-several cool, damp rags
-a pair of heat-resistant gloves
-a screwdriver or drill, if necessary

*Begin with the unloaded gun IN the holster *Remove the clips if they are removable. If not, cover them with a cool, damp rag.
*Cover all of the kydex and leather with a cool, damp rag. Leave only the indentation for the trigger guard and area immediately around it exposed. You may also want to work with the ejection port area as well.
*Take a hairdryer and slowly heat the trigger guard area, (or ejection port). You will see the kydex soften and "lift" after a few minutes under direct heat.
*Once you see the lifting begin, use your gloved hand to press the trigger indent back into the trigger guard making it shallower or deeper to alter the retention to suit yourself.
*If the kydex begins to look "wet" or shiny STOP, you have it too hot and it is about to melt. Let it cool and try again.

If you do not understand this process or it seems too risky for you to perform on your own, you can always send us your holster. We are happy to adjust the retention to your liking for free, this is part of your warranty.

Feel free to call 888-732-5011 or e-mail with any questions.
